Is there a minimum age requirement to climb?Five years old is a great age to start, as the young climbers will need the physical strength and mental capacity to problem solve.

What should I wear?Wear anything you feel comfortable in, though stretchy athletic clothing that allows for maximum freedom of movement is probably your best bet. You'll be required to wear climbing shoes to climb, so remember a pair of socks.

Do you have free WiFi?We do! HiClimb offers free WiFi in addition to several co-working spaces.

Do you have lockers?Yes! We have first-come-first-serve lockers and cubbies for all guests. You will need to bring a lock if you want to lock your locker. We sell locks if you forgot yours.

Are reservations required?No reservation required, but we always recommend calling ahead if you plan to bring a large group. We also offer guided group bookings and even a private air-conditioned room to host parties. https://www.hawaiiclimb.com/partyreservations

Where to park?There is a public paid parking garage located next door to the gym at 843 Ilaniwai St, Honolulu, HI 96813. Street parking is also available but can be limited. HiClimb does not validate parking.

Do I need special equipment?None! HiClimb offers all required equipment for rent. If it's your first time to the gym, your equipment is included with your day pass!

What types of climibng are availible?HiClimb offers Bouldering, Top Rope, Lead, and Auto-Belay climbing. We also offer Yoga and Fitness classes!

How do I learn to climb?Just show! We'll give you a quick intro to climbing and safety orientation as part of your first visit. We also offer climbing 101 courses which include day passes and will teach you bouldering and top rope belay. Climbing Classes

Can I 'test-out' belay certification?Yes! You can test out top rope and lead climbing belay with a HiClimb staff member. However, staff availability may be increase wait times during peak hours. HiClimb teaches and enforces AMGA belay standards.

Do you sell food and drink?Yes, HiClimb sells a wide variety of snacks and drinks. Additionally, Cafe Villamore is located on site. Cafe hours may vary.
