Code Of Conduct
HiClimb is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive and respectful environment for all members and guests. Everyone visiting HiClimb or participating in a HiClimb event must act maturely, behave responsibly, and respect the rights and dignity of others. The following Code of Conduct outlines prohibited action, but the actions listed below are not an all-inclusive list of behaviors considered inappropriate on our property and in our programs.

Using or possessing illegal chemicals on HiClimb property or during our programs.

Consuming alcohol when it is not sanctioned by HiClimb such as at an event.

Being intoxicated (lose control of their emotions when drunk and become volatile and enraged easily) on HiClimb property or during our programs.

Using or possessing alcohol as a minor.

Smoking / tobacco use, or e-cigarettes / vapor cigarettes use on HiClimb property.

Carrying or concealing a weapon or any device or object that may be used as a weapon.

Harassment or intimidation by words, gestures, body language, or any type of menacing or unwelcome behavior or content including

angry or vulgar language,
-
swearing,
-
name-calling,
-
shouting
-
-
Physical contact with another person in an angry, aggressive, or threatening way including:

striking
-
shoving
-
kicking
-
touching in an offensive manner
-

Any content, communication or behavior that involves
-
depictions or discussions of genital nudity
-
simulated or actual sexual acts or contact
-
exploitation involving minors,
-
coercion
-
non-consent
-
jokes, gestures or suggestions that could be interpreted as sexually suggestive, harassing or intimidating.

Removal of HiClimb equipment from HiClimb premises without written authorization from a HiClimb Management Team Member.
Enforcement of this Code of Conduct
Any behavior that violates these standards will be addressed promptly through disciplinary action, which may include suspension or expulsion from HiClimb and legal action. Harassment is classified as a petty misdemeanor under Hawaii law. Anyone who does not leave HiClimb premises when asked to do so by an identified HiClimb Team Member will be considered trespassing and reported to the authorities.
